From start to finish Nava was very communicative and thorough with his information - I reached out to a bunch of agencies and Desire definitely stood out in terms of responsiveness and price. Even throughout the trek Nava would check in to ensure all okay and running smoothly. This didn’t end with the trek - when coming back on the flight from Lukla, Nava even had the driver go past the immigration office so I could extend my visa - service above and beyond!

Trek wise, my guide Jarendra couldn’t have been better. He was a local from Lukla and seemed to know every passing guide/porter on the trail. He spoke English no issues and was very friendly and accomodating to all my requests. Clearly highly experienced and knew every corner and turn (even when snow covered the trail!!). He was always taking pictures and videos of me to ensure I had good memories from the experience and I always felt in safe hands. When we got back to Lukla, he even introduced me to his family. Very appreciative of all his efforts and an experience I will never forget. My porter also couldn’t have been friendlier, always with a smile and thumbs up when we passed.

Desire Adventures is a local company, reasonably priced and the staff are exceptional. I will be recommending to any friends/family who want to visit Nepal.
