Welcome to Nepal, Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), you will be greeted by our Company representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the day exploring Kathmandu or preparing for the trek. Overnight at the hotel.
Accommodation: Tourist-standard hotel (twin/double room), Kathmandu.
Day 2: Drive to Ramechhap (4-5hr) fly to Lukla (15-18min) and trek to Phakding (2652m/8,700ft) 3-4hr
At night around 1:00 am drive to Ramechhap to catch a scenic flight to Lukla. After landing at Lukla, begin your trek with a gentle descent to Phakding along the Dudh Koshi River.

Follow the Dudh Koshi River and cross several suspension bridges, including the iconic Hillary Suspension Bridge. Ascend through pine forests to reach Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Everest region.

Spend the day acclimatizing. Explore Namche Bazaar, visit the local museum, or take a short hike to the Everest View Hotel for stunning views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other peaks.

Leave Namche and climb steadily through rhododendron and juniper forests. Pass through small settlements and enjoy views of peaks like Ama Dablam and Thamserku. Reach Dole for an overnight stay at a Dole.

Continue ascending along a ridge, passing through yak pastures and scenic trails. Upon reaching Machherma, enjoy the stunning mountain views and learn about the local folklore at the Machherma Rescue Center. Overnight at a teahouse.

Trek through the high-altitude terrain to the turquoise Gokyo Lakes, passing by waterfalls and glacial streams. Spend the afternoon exploring the serene Gokyo Lakes and the surrounding area. Overnight at a teahouse in Gokyo.

Start early for a challenging ascent to Gokyo Ri, which offers panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and the Gokyo Lakes. Descend back to Gokyo and retrace your steps to Dole. Overnight at a teahouse.

Descend through picturesque trails, passing yak pastures and small Sherpa villages. Reach Namche Bazaar for an overnight stay at a teahouse.

Follow the trail back to Lukla, enjoying your final day of trekking through the scenic Everest region. Celebrate your journey with your team. Overnight at a teahouse in Lukla.

Catch an early morning flight from Lukla to Ramechhap. Upon landing, drive back to Kathmandu. Spend the day relaxing or exploring the city. Overnight at a hotel.

Pack List for 14 days Gokyo Lake Trek
The company provides one porter for every two traveler. Each porter is only allowed to carry at a maximum weight of 25-30 kilograms. Therefore, we suggest you to pack as lightly as possible. Our porters carry all the trekking gears in a shared water-proof duffle bag, provided by the company. Your extra luggage can be left in a hotel in Kathmandu (free storage available). We recommend you to carry a lightweight cotton or plastic bag to keep your trekking gears separate. Kindly follow the checklist below to pack the required stuff during the trip:

Trekking has been commercialized in the last few years since Nepal was recognized as the most efficient country to trek. With growing commercialization comes competitive market. Nevertheless, our climbing Sherpas and team representatives along with the guides are required to have minimum of 5 years of experience with a certified license.
Importance to Sustainable Tourism:
We value the importance of sustainable economy and development. Thus, we hire local porters, guides and climbers to train them and give them a platform to work for themselves and their family. All our team members belong to local native groups and have been trained for trekking in the Himalayas and other regions of Nepal.
No exceptions with quality and equipments:
Our teams of guides are well trained with proper English speaking and communication skills via education and experience. We are also equipped with first-aid kits and trekking apparatus like oximeters, maps, first-aid kits and mobile phone for emergency. Perhaps what separates us from others is the relationship our company has with the climbing Sherpa’s and trekking guides.
5:1 Client Guide Ratio
We maintain a 5:1 client guide ratio i.e. with every 5 clients we provide 1 guide. A team leader/guide with be appointed for a team of 5 trekkers in the group. Nevertheless, an assistant leader will also be provided with every addition of 5 pax. You will have 1 porter for 2 trekkers who will be carrying 25-30 kilograms of weight. We wish for your travels to be worthy and adventurous with no difficulties or hurdles.
