After breakfast, you'll begin an acclimatization hike, which is entirely uphill and takes about two hours to reach Hotel Everest View (HEV). We recommend a scenic hike passing through HEV in Syangboche, continuing onward to the villages of Khunde and Khumjung before descending back to Namche. This round trip typically takes around 5 to 6 hours.

In Khumjung, you can visit Hillary School, see the longest mani wall in the Khumbu region, and explore the monastery that houses what is believed to be a Yeti skull. These man-made attractions will give you a deeper understanding of the Khumbu region’s cultural heritage.

The trek continues through Pangboche, and you'll stop for lunch in the village of Somare. Afterward, the trail ascends uphill, where you'll cross an iron bridge over the small Thukla River, which flows from the Everest Base Camp and Khumbu Glacier.
