This trek is a newly established route in Annapurna region. Which is nearest trekking destination from Pokhara city, and can finish it 2 nights 3 days.

To do this trek we should take a jeep from Pokhara to Ghachok or take a taxi to Milan chok and ridge a local bus from Milan chok to Ghachok. The trekking start from Ghachok and should climb up hill with narrow trail, along the route to Khumai danda can see magnificant views of Mt Fishtail, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Lamjung himal many more.  

The trek covers approximately 20–25 km, depending on the exact route. Starting from Kharpani, the trail winds through forests and ridges before reaching Khumai Danda. A detailed Khumai Danda trek route map is essential for navigation, ensuring you make the most of your journey.

Detail Itinerary

Today is our first day of the trek. After our breakfast in Pokhara we will start our picturesque journey from Pokhara to Ghachok by driving where the tranquility of nature surrounds you. After arriving in Ghachok, begin an exciting trek to Saripakha, immersing yourself in the stunning landscapes and cultural richness of the region. Experience the beauty of the Himalayas and the warmth of local hospitality, creating unforgettable memories on this adventurous day.

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

After our breakfast we will start our trekking to Korchon. This day is quite difficult day because of the steep and narrow paths. After two and half hour walking we will reach in Kumai danda, where from we can see magnificent views of Mt. Machhapucre, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Himchuli, Mardihimal, Lamjung himal etc. Then will be continue our trekking to Korchon for two hour.
Overnight at Korchon

It is your most important day. You should wake up early in the morning for sunrise view, from Korchon you will see 360 degree views, and can see beautiful landscape. After the breakfast will trek down Saripakha via Khumai danda. And after our lunch we will drive back to Pokhara.

Hands - Lightweight gloves, heavy-weight gloves/mittens with a waterproof outer shell

Lower body - Underwear (4), hiking shorts (2), lightweight cotton long pants, light and expedition weight thermal bottoms, Fleece or wool pants, waterproof (preferably breathable fabric) shell pants

Feet - Thin, light-wear inner socks (4), thick, warm wool hiking socks (4), hiking boots with spare laces, camp shoes (sneakers and/or sandals), gaiters.

Accessories - Headlamp with spare bulb and batteries, small padlock or combination lock, basic first aid kit, large plastic bags (for keeping items dry inside trek bag), day pack, water bottles (2), hiking pole/walking sticks, small ear plugs, fanny bags for your valuables.

Toiletries – Soap, shampoo, toothbrush, small wash towel

Please leave your extra luggage in the hotel in Kathmandu (free storage is available) and pack as lightly as possible.

Nevertheless, our climbing Sherpas and team representatives along with the guides are required to have minimum of 5 years of experience with a certified license.

All our team members belong to local native groups and have been trained for trekking in the Himalayas and other regions of Nepal.

5:1 Client Guide Ratio

We maintain a 5:1 client guide ratio i.e. with every 5 clients we provide 1 guide. A team leader/guide with be appointed for a team of 5 trekkers in the group. Nevertheless, an assistant leader will also be provided with every addition of 5 pax. You will have 1 porter for 2 trekkers who will be carrying 25-30 kilograms of weight. We wish for your travels to be worthy and adventurous with no difficulties or hurdles.
