I had the incredible opportunity to complete the Three Passes and Everest Base Camp trek with Desire Adventures in April 2025, and I can't recommend them highly enough. As a solo traveler, I was initially nervous about tackling such a demanding route, but from the moment I landed in Kathmandu to my final farewell, the Desire Adventures team (Navaj) made me feel completely supported and cared for, making sure that support is there for me to meet my goals.

My guide, Chetan, and porter, Hari, were an exceptional duo. Chetan consistently demonstrated warm hospitality, deep knowledge of the region, and an unwavering commitment to my safety. He was highly adaptable—when our Lukla flight was delayed due to bad weather, he calmly revised the itinerary without ever compromising the trek’s integrity or my wellbeing. Chetan even spent time showing me around Kathmandu on my spare day, going far beyond what’s expected of a guide.

Every day on the trail brought a new highlight—whether it was trekking through majestic glacial moraines at Cho La Pass, the ever-changing Himalayan scenery, or learning more about Nepalese culture from the people we met along the way. The flight in and out of Lukla (one of the world's most thrilling airports) added an extra layer of excitement to the adventure.

Hari, my porter, was equally incredible. He not only handled the physical demands of the trek with grace but was always ready with a kind smile and helpful hand. The entire journey felt like traveling with close friends rather than just a guide and porter.
